Chained SSL certificates work fine on our servers, they do require some extra work during installation, however they do work. The question is if they work with most common browsers, and the answer is for the most part yes. They do not work on as many browsers as a normal SSL certificate; however, they will work with any browsers which are SSLv3 compliant, which includes any browser newer than MSIE 5.01, Netscape 7.0, etc.
